Tape-In extensions

Thin wefts with medical-grade adhesive tabs are pressed on either side of a fine slice of your own hair, like a sandwich. Removed with a solvent that dissolves the adhesive.

Tape-In questions

Are tape-in extensions human hair?

Professional tape-ins are 100% Remy human hair, with the cuticle intact and aligned to prevent tangling.

How long do tape-ins last?

Typically 6 to 10 weeks between move-ups, depending on growth rate, climate and heat use. Quality hair can usually be re-taped and reapplied up to about three times.

Can tape-ins be custom coloured?

Yes. Shades are usually mixed to match root, mid-length and ends.

Can I use hot tools?

Yes, with a heat protectant. Keep heat off the tabs, which weaken with direct heat.

How are they removed?

With a removal solution that dissolves the adhesive. The hair is then cleaned, re-taped and reapplied.
